I'm watching Wolf Blitzer on Larry King Live interviewing the parents of the now dubbed 'Balloon boy' and I am feeling the same way that many of you are. You lie! The kid says that it was part of the show. When he said that, you could see the father sweating. There is something to be said for the stress that the kid must be under but to my eyes this seemed like a slip of a kid not in on the hoax rather than a flustered utterance. The most suspect action was the father's 180 on Blitzer when asked about the kid's comment. He got angry in a way that seemed a little too quick. Shakespeare said it best, "The douche doth protest too much, methinks."
CNN estimates that the cost of the faux rescue was around $20,000. Now thats a really preliminary figure but what if this is a stunt? Would the father have to pay up or go to jail? That family will be a lightning point that can unite the nation and maybe the world in ire. I can see Iran and US sitting down for negotiations after sharing their mutual disgust for the father of the bubble boy. Maybe world peace.
Or maybe they'll just end up the subject of a question in the 2020 version of Trivial Pursuit.
Why the f is his name falcon?
Yeah Falcon. You think that kid is getting the story straight now. I bet the father is drilling it into his head now. Watch the Youtube video on their time on Wife Swap. Yes they were on a reality show. Ill post it.
a few colleagues and i caught the video of the father holding his "found" son, crying, kissing him on the forehead and immediately i said "this kind of looks fake" which didnt go over too well.
Yeah, it looks like a hoax to me to. I just watched that interview and the kid's answer seemed to really startle the dad.
