Geek News! Adrien Brody in... Predator; No Simpsons Sequel For Now

By Colin Ellis Oct. 8, 2009 12:10 am

The AV Club posted two interesting little nuggets recently:

One, there maybe a Simpsons sequel after all. Matt Groening hasn't ruled out doing a follow-up to the 2007 movie after the show wraps up - whenever that is.

"It took 18 years to get around to doing the movie," Groening said. "We got very frustrated. We thought it would take two years but it ended up taking four. Some day maybe we'll do another one -- but don't hold your breath."

I've long stopped caring if or when the show will end. For me, the series ended around season 9.

And Adrien Brody will star in the new Predator "reboot," along with Danny Trejo! Brody's kind of an unusual pick. He's not really known for starring in action movies ("King Kong" aside), plus I don't really see him taking on The Predator if you know what I mean. Where's Arnold when you need him?
