Czech Style Fried Bread.

There's nothing uniquely Czech about this. It just helps to make the recipe sound exotic. So here's what you need.

This is piss easy. You can definitely do this pantsless.

  1. Slice the bread into 1.5 cm pieces, if it isn't already.

  2. Pour oil in a large frying pan to a level of 2.5 cm or thereabout.

  3. Heat the oil.

  4. When oil is hot put in as many slices of bread as will fit. Fry until 'golden brown' i.e. the colour of a hairdresser's fake tan.

  5. Flip bread over. Wait until this side is cooked too.

  6. Remove slices and drain. Start frying any more bread you've got.

  7. Once all the bread is fried and drained, take one clove of garlic for each slice and rub it so the garlic breaks up and is smeared into the bread.

  8. Serve with salami and cheese.

Goes well with straight vodka.
