Make Less Cash than Your Girl, You'll Cheat On Her; Make More, You'll Cheat On Her

Here's an interesting article on the relation between the difference in a couple's respective incomes and cheating. Apparently, dude makes way less than his girl, he's more likely to cheat. Reasons being either a less than ideal view of his manhood or he don't have enough cash to be happy, maybe to spend on his hobbies or treat his girl. In fact, dudes 100% reliant on their lady are 5x more likely to cheat.

Also, dude makes much more money than his girl makes him more likely to cheat. Reason being the long hours and business travel (ie the law of different area codes that makes everything allowable). it's not mentioned, but I'm guessing having more cash makes having side chicks that much more viable. In this instance, the girl is also less likely to cheat (back?). If dude's bringing in the cash, you can't piss him off. Apparently, guy doesn't have that common sense: "More importantly, economically dependent women may encounter fewer opportunities to cheat, and they may make a calculated decision that cheating just isn't worth it. If they get caught, their livelihood is at risk."

Now best way to keep both partners from cheating: make similar salaries. So guys, take this as a lesson: make lots of money, more than your girl. But, don't leave funny voicemails on your side chick's machine.
