I haven't seen Love Actually or Valentine's Day - these rom-coms where a bunch of celebrities are matched together in Hollywood's version of a comic book crossover event. They usually star Katherine Heigl, Jessica Biel, and Katherine Heigl among other inconsequential actors-for-hire. But I'm curious about New Year's Eve, not so much because I like the plot or anything, but the matches are kind of hilarious. There are the typical, boring ones like Ashton Kutcher/Lea Michele and Katherine Heigl/Jon Bon Jovi. But then there's Michelle Pfeiffer and... Zac Efron?! And my favourite is Hilary Swank and Ludacris! Lud-A!!!
I don't know if these pairings are romantic or some platonic relationship thrown in to teach all us single people to be happy with our lives, but I'm really hoping it's the former.
