Here's Christian Bale freaking out at a DP (Director of Photography) on the set of the new Terminator movie.
I have nothing really to add to this. It pretty much speaks for itself.
As far as celebrity meltdowns goes, I rank Bale's just above Bill O'Reilly's tantrum on Inside Edition
and a notch below the Lily Tomlin-David O. Russell smackdown on the set of I Heart Huckabees.
Of course all three don't hold a candle to Michael Richards (I think we've all had enough of that one).
And in case you were wondering what a Christian Bale meltdown dance remix would sound like, here it is too.
His cred is is plummeting each time he has tantrums like these. None of the others you cite here have much of a career left except for Lily Tomlin. I don't follow Bill O'Reilly, so I could be wrong about him.
the real insight is how the outburst got leaked to begin with... they sent it to the insurance company in case Bale left and jeopardized the movie. that kind of shows it wasn't an isolated incident...
also, not that i condone people being spoken to in that manner under any circumstances, but the DP isn't an extra or a stage-hand. The DP is probably the 2nd, or 3rd highest most important person on set after the director..
