As of right now it seems that the Pacquiao/Mayweather superfight has been called off. According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, promoter Bob Arum has given word that the fight will not happen because of Floyd Jr.'s refusal to compromise on subjecting Pacquiao to random blood and urine tests up to and including the day of the fight.
I'm sure everybody won't be shy with their opinions - Iole seems to be of the opinion that this was a way for Mayweather to get out of the fight - but I just think it's sad that the biggest fight of our generation looks like it won't happen. I guess it was way too much to ask for the negotiations to run smoothly.
Then again, this isn't the first time we've heard that the fight has been called off, so I'm hoping for some new, more optimistic developments soon.

So the fight is off because Manny Pacquiao needs no less that 24 days to recover from having a vial of blood drawn.
