The first movie adaptation of the Mortal Kombat videogame franchise was, if nothing else, mindless action fun. The sequel is also fun, but not for the same reasons: file this one alongside The Room and The Wickerman. Cheesy and poorly delivered dialogue, indecipherable plot, poorly choreographed fight scenes, cheap costumes, token trash talking black guy... this movie has it all.
